OVERVIEW
An advanced dive for those wanting to explore arches and caves with a good chance of pelagics.
El Morro is a small rock pinnacle 45 minutes away from the marina in La Cruz, often home to a couple of sea lions during the winter months. It's not an easy dive site, with current and sometimes some strong waves - but it is rewarding because the stronger sea conditions makes it rich and diverse in life.

Depths reach 40m here and so it's a site only for advanced divers. There is a cavern entrance at 30m that our experienced guides will be able to help you explore. The rock is covered in sponges, sea fans and squirts and there is a good chance of seeing sea lions in the water and sometimes Manta.
THE TRIP
Here's how it's going to work
CHECK IN
Arrive at 8:30am at our office in Sayulita.
We'll get you fitted with all the equipment you need then drive you 30 minutes to La Cruz Marina where our boat is moored.
Carretera Higuera Blanca 15, Local F, Colonia Cucola, Sayulita, Nayarit, México.
BOAT RIDE
It's a 45 minute boat ride on our comfortable 30 ft boat with 150hp engines and sofa seating.

This is the perfect opportunity to see whales (December to March) and sometimes dolphins.
DIVING
We'll do our 2 dives in groups no bigger than 6 divers per guide with a comfortable surface interval between dives.

We'll provide you a light lunch and refreshments while you chat about what you saw!
​
We'll get you back to Sayulita at around 16:30.
